ROK attends GLA design project launch

23 November 2022

ROK is so excited to be involved in year two of the Greater London Authority’s (GLA's) groundbreaking project, Design Future London, where every school in London is invited to allow their students to take part in re-imagining an area of London – this year, Croydon!

The GLA and Mayor of London Design Future London project aims to inspire young Londoners to develop an interest in designing beautiful, affordable and sustainable places to live, work and visit.

Alongside two other charities, ROK is working with five schools in Hackney, Lambeth and Enfield to support around 150 students to take part in, engage with and complete their projects.

The project, which will run from January to April 2023, is a great way for young people to gain useful insights into the built environment and various careers within this fascinating field.

A huge well done and thank you to all the student who took part in this week’s Design Future London workshop on Thursday 23 November -we’re so excited to see how your designs progress over the course of the project!
